Instagram Carousel Downloader
A carousel can hold up to twenty photos and videos in one post. Paste a public carousel link and instdownloader lists every slide separately, so you can keep exactly the ones you came for.
Every slide, in the original order
Carousels mix photos and videos freely, and instdownloader keeps that mix intact: each item is listed with its own preview and Download button, in the same order as the post. You are not forced to save the whole set — pick the slides you want and skip the rest.
How to download a carousel post
- 1
Copy the link
Open the carousel, tap the Share icon, and choose Copy link.
- 2
Paste it into instdownloader
Choose the Carousel tab and paste the link.
- 3
Save the slides you want
Each slide gets its own Download button — images save as photos, videos as MP4 files.
What counts as a carousel
A carousel is a post with more than one item — swipeable on Instagram, usually marked with dots or a counter under the image. If your link opens a post with a single item, it is a regular photo or video post; instdownloader handles those just as well.
Public content, respectfully
instdownloader reads only public pages and never logs in. Reusing someone else’s photos or videos, in whole or in part, needs their permission — a download is not a license.
Save a carousel post
Paste a public carousel link and download the slides you need.
Open the carousel downloaderFrequently asked questions
Can I download all slides of a carousel at once?
Not yet. Every slide has its own Download button, so saving a full carousel means clicking through the slides — the order matches the original post, so nothing gets mixed up.
A carousel slide is a video. Can I still save it?
Yes. instdownloader detects each slide’s type: videos get a player preview and download as MP4 files, photos save as images.
Why are some slides missing?
instdownloader lists every slide Instagram serves publicly. If a slide was deleted from the post, or the post became private, it will not appear — no tool can retrieve it after that.
Do carousel downloads include the caption?
No. You get the media files only. If you plan to repost, write your own caption and credit the creator.
